I am pumped to be releasing this episode of Cue To Cue with Anthony! I’ve known Anthony for quite a few years now and I knew our conversation would be dripping with sarcasm and full of laughs as we poked fun at each other, but I also know that as funny as Anthony is he also brings a killer work ethic and a great amount of passion for the arts to the table. Whenever I am around Anthony I always feel like I could be doing more. I mean that in the best way. Anthony challenges to go deeper into my creative being and find more room for growth and skill. I feel like if Anthony sees potential in you and he believes you are not living up to it, he will let you know it. We should all be lucky enough to have someone like that in our lives.
In this episode, we discuss what he believes every performer should do to help improve their auditioning skills, why he believes every artist should spend two weeks not listening to a single piece of music, and what vocalists need to understand about recording versus singing live and how the current recording process has made it very difficult for singers to perform live and sound like they do on the recording.
