It was so energizing to engage in a conversation with Jeff Moulton about creativity and going after your dreams. Jeff and I have known each other for a decade but have lost touch over the years as we have moved, got married, and traveled. You know, life happens.

As my first interviews were underway for Cue to Cue, I was on Facebook and saw a post from Jeff stating that he too was launching a podcast. I immediately messaged him to see what the premise was. When Jeff told me the basis for his show, I knew immediately that I had to have him on for an interview! Not only because Jeff is a talented, smart, and mindful performer but because Jeff’s podcast embodies the message of Cue to Cue. That is to nurture and follow your creativity and to inspire others to do the same. Jeff’s podcast, ITR- In The Room, is a show where he invites the listener to go on a journey with him as he documents his transition from actor to director.

Since our interview, ITR has launched and is available on iTunes, Stitcher Radio, and Soundcloud. I highly recommend you subscribe and listen to ITR – In The Room. He allows the listener to go through a range of experiences with him.  This includes not being able to launch his podcast because the name he chose was already taken, the stresses of running a Kickstarter campaign, writing directors for guidance and not hearing back, and a serendipitous moment where he meets a Broadway director who then invites him to be an assistant director on a production. Jeff takes it all in stride and is very honest about his feelings as he moves towards his vision.
