Are you sitting in your comfort zone? Or are you intentionally working at the edge of your growth?

Try something new, be uncomfortable and drive your own artist!

Hillary Tuck & Eric Hunicutt from The Performer’s Mindset are joining our conversation on Cue To Cue this week to urge us to try something that seems crazy and create our unique interpretation instead of going with the obvious choices. They remind us that there’s a bunch of different versions to do a thing, even though our first impulse often takes us to just one option.

Are you afraid you might do it wrong? Are you focused on hitting the marks and just getting it done?

Enjoy the process and love your messy bits! Show your authentic self as an artist.

In this episode:

  • How the ability to pick options makes good improvisers
  • The benefits of virtual workshops in creating a community of artists
  • How starting to perform at a young age impacted Hillary’s search for identity
  • The importance of intentionally being willing to work at the edge of your growth
  • The impact of having a process in developing a performer’s mindset
